ERP modernization
Industry ERP Conversion
Industry-specific ERP conversion and adaptation for operational go-lives.

The challenge
Off-the-shelf or aging ERP screens no longer matched how plant and commercial teams work, but a big-bang rewrite on a live SQL Server ERP would be too risky—so conversion had to be incremental and checklist-driven. Without a coherent erp modernization foundation, Industry ERP Conversion stakeholders faced fragmented tools, slow handoffs, and limited visibility—classic failure modes Tekvers designs against.
The solution
Industry ERP Conversion: Industry-specific ERP conversion and adaptation for operational go-lives. ERP modernization without a risky big-bang cutover. Tekvers delivered a maintainable erp modernization system for Industry ERP Conversion using .NET 8, Next.js, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, with phased rollout, operator workflows, and documentation suited to long-term ownership.
Approach
Process and checklist capture
An explicit Accounts migration checklist tracks Done vs Todo so stakeholders see honest progress—users/COA/cost centers migrated; vouchers, posting, and statements still legacy.
Targeted conversion on shared schema
New API and UI rewrite selected screens against the existing SQL Server ERP schema rather than inventing a parallel database—preserving operational history while modernizing the worst friction points first.
Adoption over rewrite theater
Legacy Areas keep running for unmigrated domains so go-live is continuous. Teams keep selling, purchasing, and posting in BlocksERP until those modules clear the checklist—not until a marketing “fully migrated” claim.
Deliverables
- ▸Dual-stack Agrimore ERP workspace (BlocksERP + Erp.Api + erp-frontend)
- ▸.NET 8 Web API with EF Core SQL Server and JWT
- ▸Next.js admin UI for migrated Accounts/identity screens
- ▸Migrated users, roles, companies, businesses, and admin emails
- ▸Chart of accounts levels 1–3, account details, and cost centers
- ▸Documents upload path in the new stack
- ▸Accounts migration checklist with Done/Todo honesty
- ▸SQL Server backup artifact for environment restore reference
- ▸Legacy MVC Areas retained for Sale, Purchase, Inventory, HRM, Production, Cheque, Services, vouchers, and reports
Outcomes
- ▸ERP modernization without a risky big-bang cutover
- ▸Accounts master data and identity screens on a modern API/UI stack
- ▸Higher clarity on what remains legacy vs converted
- ▸Reduced pressure to maintain every new screen in MVC forever
Impact
Teams keep running the business inside Agrimore while the UI modernizes module by module—the system increasingly speaks current web UX for setup and COA work, without pretending vouchers and financial statements have already moved.
